FAQ

Common questions

Which board does the case fit?

The snap-in cradle fits the Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 (V3) board. The case is available to order after fit check, while we confirm the board-edge fit on a test print.

Does it come with the solar panel or electronics?

No. The price is for the printed parts only. Board, battery, 18650 holder, solar panel, charge board, antenna, O-ring, gland and screws are not included.

What size solar panel fits the lid?

The standard frame takes a panel up to 80 x 55 x 3 mm with 0.5 mm clearance. Tell us your panel size and we set the frame to it.

How does it mount?

The bracket screws to inserts under the case. It has two V-blocks for a 20-50 mm pole with zip ties or hose clamps, and keyholes for a wall.

Is it waterproof?

It is designed for an O-ring face seal with gland and bulkhead ports, but it has not been tested to an IP rating, so we do not claim one.
