Servo bracket and camera mount kit for 2020 extrusion

A three-piece robotics kit for 2020 aluminium extrusion: a top-plate bracket that fits DS3225 / MG996R-class standard servos (40 x 20 mm body, 54 mm ear span), an L-bracket that fits the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3, and a fit-test plate. Both brackets mount with M5 T-nuts on 2020 extrusion or on any flat plate (M5, 20 mm pitch). Printed in PETG in Melbourne.

FAQ

Common questions

Which servos does the bracket fit?

DS3225 and MG996R-class standard servos with a 40 x 20 mm body and 54 mm ear span. The ear holes are slotted for 48.5-50.5 mm pitch. DS3225 can be ordered now; MG996R is available to order after fit check, because its hole pitch is not published.

Does it fit the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 Wide?

The mount is sized for the standard Camera Module 3. The Wide module has the same board and hole pattern but a taller lens housing, so ask us before ordering for a Wide module.

How does it mount to 2020 extrusion?

Each bracket has slotted M5 holes for 2020 T-nuts, so it slides along the extrusion before you tighten it. You can also screw it to a flat plate on a 20 mm M5 pitch.

Are screws included?

No hardware is included. You need 4 M3 x 8 screws and nuts for the servo, 2 M5 x 8 screws and T-nuts per bracket, and 4 M2 x 6 screws for the camera.

Do you do class sets?

Yes. 10 kits are A$290. For other quantities send an enquiry and we quote the whole job.
