Spray-drone hose and cable clamps for 20-40 mm carbon arm tubes, plus skid guards
Accessories for open-frame agricultural spray drones built on carbon tube arms. The clamp is a split ring closed by one M4 screw that carries a snap-in clip for the 8 mm spray hose and another for a 6 mm cable, in five tube sizes from 20 to 40 mm. The skid guard is a TPU C-section that snaps over a 16, 20 or 25 mm landing-skid tube with a grooved 7 mm pad underneath, to keep stones, concrete and loading ramps off the tube. The gauge card has half-round notches from 10 to 40 mm so you can measure a tube and order the right size. Sold by tube diameter: we do not claim a fit to any particular aircraft. Hose and cable only, not for anything flight-critical. Printed to order in ASA and TPU in our Melbourne workshop.
From A$8 for the single clamp. Printed to order in Melbourne and shipped Australia-wide; we confirm the final price and lead time before anything is printed.

Order status. Sold by tube diameter. Measure your arm and skid tubes with the gauge card (free with any order) or a caliper, then name the sizes when you order. We do not claim a fit to any particular aircraft model.

Specifications: material, size and what it fits
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Material | Clamps and gauge card in ASA (UV-stable outdoors; PETG on request for covered use). Skid guards in TPU 90A. 0.30 mm layers on a 0.6 mm nozzle, no supports. Clamps 4 walls / 25 % gyroid (clamping load); guards 3 walls / 25 % (impact) |
| Tube clamps | Split clamp 14 mm wide for 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 mm round tubes, one M4 screw closes a 3 mm split, size engraved on the lug. Carries one snap-in 8 mm spray-hose clip and one 6 mm cable clip. 6.5-9.4 g each |
| Skid guards | Clip-on C-section 60 mm long for 16, 20 or 25 mm skid tubes, 7 mm pad with tread grooves underneath. 18-26 g each, about 22 g per guard on a 20 mm skid |
| Tube gauge card | 150 x 42 x 2.4 mm card with half-round notches of 10, 16, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 mm (each +0.3 mm), numbers engraved, lanyard hole. Hold a tube in the notches to find the clamp or guard size |
| Fits | Round carbon arm tubes of 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 mm outside diameter, for example the 30 / 35 / 40 mm tubes used with X6-, X8- and X9-class agricultural power systems, and 16, 20 and 25 mm landing-gear tubes. Tube sizes from the makers' published specifications; measure yours with the gauge card first |
| Hardware | Not included. Each clamp needs 1 x M4 x 25 stainless screw, an M4 nyloc nut and 2 washers. Guards need nothing |
| Chemicals | None of these plastics is rated for chemical service. They handle water-based, diluted sprays and fertiliser solutions reasonably well; solvent-based concentrates can craze or soften them. Rinse with clean water after spraying, keep them off concentrate, check them every season and replace any part that is cracked, crazed, swollen or sticky. We have not tested any specific chemical |

Who it's for
Ag-drone operators and contractors running open-frame spray drones on carbon tube arms (the 10-30 L class), and drone service workshops.
Safety & use
Installation & use. Designed for the uses described on this page only. Fixings are not included: use the sizes listed, check they are tight before use, and check the parts regularly for wear or damage. Not for safety-critical or overhead load-bearing use. Damage caused by misuse, modification or overloading isn't a fault in the product.
Not an aircraft part. Not a certified or approved aircraft part, and not made, approved or endorsed by any drone or power-system maker. The operator stays responsible for airworthiness and for their CASA obligations.
Not flight-critical. The clamps hold hose and cable only. Never use them to hold arms, motors, propellers, the tank or the battery, and keep everything clear of propellers, spray nozzles, radar and obstacle sensors. Re-check the aircraft's balance after fitting. The guards add about 22 g each: check that they do not block landing sensors or change how the drone sits on its legs.
This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Common questions
Which drones do the clamps fit?
Any round carbon arm tube of 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 mm outside diameter. Those sizes cover the 30 / 35 / 40 mm arm tubes that X6-, X8- and X9-class agricultural power systems are specified for, and 20-25 mm tubes on smaller frames. Measure your tube with the gauge card (or a caliper) and order that size; we do not claim a fit to any particular aircraft.
What do the clamps carry?
One 8 mm PU spray hose in the snap-in hose clip and one 6 mm cable in the cable clip. That is all they are for. Arms, motors, propellers, the tank and the battery must stay on the maker's own fixings.
Which skid sizes do the guards fit?
Landing-skid tubes of 16, 20 or 25 mm outside diameter. The C-section snaps over the tube and the grooved pad sits underneath. Each guard weighs about 22 g on a 20 mm skid; check your landing sensors are not blocked.
Will spray chemicals damage them?
ASA, PETG and TPU cope with water-based, diluted sprays and fertiliser solutions, but solvent-based concentrates can craze or soften them. Rinse the parts with clean water after spraying, keep them away from concentrate, inspect them every season and replace anything cracked, crazed, swollen or sticky. We have not tested specific chemicals and no plastic here is rated for chemical service.
Why ASA?
It is UV-stable, so it does not yellow or go brittle in the sun the way PETG does over a season. The guards are TPU 90A for impact.
