Adjustable tablet mount and accessibility switch mount: desk clamp or 1/4-20 base, locking joints
An adjustable mount that holds a tablet or an accessibility switch exactly where it is easiest to reach. One modular arm does both jobs: a desk-edge clamp for desks, tables and benches 10 to 45 mm thick (or a 1/4-20 base for a tripod or camera arm), a 120 mm arm, an elbow, and a head. The tablet head grips the short side of 7 to 13 inch tablets, bare or in a case, and turns a full 360 degrees for landscape or portrait. The switch heads take round switches about 84 mm or 162 mm across, or anything on a flat plate with hook-and-loop. Every joint has 24 locking teeth, so it sets in 15 degree steps and cannot slip under load. Tablet mount kit A$44.95, switch mount kit from A$23.95. Everyday aids, not medical devices. Printed to order in PETG in our Melbourne workshop.
From A$8 for the extra arm, switch cup or flat plate. Printed to order in Melbourne and shipped Australia-wide; we confirm the final price and lead time before anything is printed.

Who it's for
People who use a tablet or an accessibility switch at a desk or table, families and carers setting one up at home, schools, libraries and community centres, and occupational therapists and support workers ordering for clients (we make the parts; we make no claims about outcomes).
Safety & use
Installation & use. Designed for the uses described on this page only. Fixings are not included: use the sizes listed, check they are tight before use, and check the parts regularly for wear or damage. Not for safety-critical or overhead load-bearing use. Damage caused by misuse, modification or overloading isn't a fault in the product.
Mounting. For desks, tables and benches 10-45 mm thick, or a standard 1/4-20 tripod or camera-arm screw. Not for wheelchairs, beds, bed rails, vehicles or anything that moves, and never over a person. Tablets up to 1 kg including the case. Check that the clamp and every knob are tight and that the jaws hold the tablet firmly before you let go, and check again before each use. Keep cables clear of the joints.
Everyday aid, not a medical device. These mounts hold a tablet or a switch where you want it. They are not designed to treat, relieve or manage any condition, and we make no therapeutic claims. If you need advice about aids for a health condition, ask a health professional.
Small parts. Knobs, nuts, washers and the soft clamp pad are small parts: keep them away from young children. Hardware is not included; use the sizes listed.

Common questions
Which tablets fit the tablet mount?
Most 7 to 13 inch tablets, bare or in a slim case, up to 1 kg. The jaws grip the short side: the short side plus twice the thickness has to be between 131 and 227 mm. That is about 120 to 215 mm at 6 mm thick, or 107 to 203 mm in a 12 mm case. Edges up to 18 mm thick sit in the V-shaped jaws. Turn the cradle 90 degrees at the swivel for portrait.
Which accessibility switches fit the switch mount?
Round switches whose body is up to 85 mm across (the common 84 mm body) in the small cup, or up to 163 mm across (162 mm body) in the large cup. A 25 mm hook-and-loop strap through the cup's slots holds the switch, and a notch lets the cable out. Square or other switches go on the flat 80 mm plate with hook-and-loop dots. A free ring coupon comes with the first order so you can check your switch.
How do the joints lock?
Each joint is a pair of faces with 24 teeth, held by one M5 bolt and a 30 mm knob. Loosen the knob about two turns, move the joint to the next 15 degree step and tighten it again. Because the teeth interlock, a joint cannot slip under the tablet's weight the way a friction joint can.
What can it clamp to?
The desk clamp fits desks, tables and benches 10 to 45 mm thick and has a soft pad under the screw. The 1/4-20 base screws onto a standard tripod, light stand or camera-arm screw. It is not for wheelchairs, beds, bed rails, vehicles or anything that moves, and not for overhead mounting.
What hardware do I need?
Hardware is not included. The desk clamp needs an M8 x 60 hex bolt and an M8 nut. Each joint needs an M5 hex bolt, nut and washer: 45, 30 and 30 mm for the tablet mount on the clamp, 25 mm for a switch head, 35 mm on the 1/4-20 base. The top jaw needs an M5 x 20 bolt and nut, and the 1/4-20 base one 1/4-20 hex nut. All are standard hardware-store sizes.
How strong is it?
It is designed for a tablet up to 1 kg including its case. The clamp, arm, elbow and cradle print in PETG with 4 walls and 20 % infill; a 1 kg tablet puts under 2 MPa into the arm, and a hand-tight knob clamps each joint with far more force than the tablet can push apart. Check the knobs before each use.
Is it a medical device?
No. These are everyday mounting aids, sold as ordinary consumer products in Australia. They hold a tablet or switch in place, and we make no claims that they treat or relieve any condition. If you are choosing aids for a health condition, talk to a health professional.
How do I order?
Use Get a quote and choose Request a quote, naming the kit (tablet or switch mount), the base (desk clamp or 1/4-20), the switch cup size, the colours and the quantity. We confirm the price and lead time before anything is printed.
