Adjustable FPV action-camera mount, 0-40 degree tilt, TPU (fits 20 x 20 to 30.5 x 30.5 mm M3 patterns)

A soft TPU 95A mount that holds an action camera on an FPV drone at 0, 10, 20, 30 or 40 degrees of up-tilt, so one mount replaces a shelf of fixed-angle, frame-specific mounts. The base has four diagonal slots that take any square M3 pattern from 20 x 20 to 30.5 x 30.5 mm (frame top plate or stack standoffs) plus two strap slots; the holder carries the common three-finger action-cam interface and pivots between the base's two ears on one M3 bolt, with a second M3 bolt locking the angle. Fits GoPro HERO-style and DJI Osmo Action-style cameras and adapters that use the finger interface. Printed to order in our Melbourne workshop; a free fit coupon comes first so the fingers suit your camera.

Orange 3D printed TPU camera mount: a flat base plate with diagonal slots and two upright ears holding a tilting holder with a three-finger interface
Studio render: made to order, real photos coming: the base and tilt holder assembled at 20 degrees, in orange TPU 95A.

Order status. The action-cam finger interface has no published drawing from any camera maker, so its gap is one parameter in our model. Your first order includes the free 3-gap fit coupon: clip your camera on, tell us which gap is snug, and we print the holder to that gap.

What does it look like in use?

Renders are computer images of our own design, made from the same model we print. This family is made to order: real photos of our first prints are coming.

FPV freestyle, cinematic and long-range pilots who swap cameras and angles between quads, and FPV shops and clubs that do not want a different mount for every frame.

Safety & use

Installation & use. Designed for the uses described on this page only. Fixings are not included: use the sizes listed, check they are tight before use, and check the parts regularly for wear or damage. Not for safety-critical or overhead load-bearing use. Damage caused by misuse, modification or overloading isn't a fault in the product.

Drones. Fit at your own risk and check every screw before each flight. TPU softens above about 60 degrees C. Keep the parts clear of propellers, and re-check the balance and centre of gravity after fitting. Not a certified aircraft part; the pilot stays responsible for the aircraft and for their CASA obligations.

FAQ

Common questions

Which cameras does the mount fit?

Cameras and adapters that use the common action-cam finger interface: GoPro HERO-style cameras and DJI Osmo Action-style cameras or their finger adapters. No camera maker publishes the interface drawing, so the free fit coupon has three finger gaps (3.1 / 3.3 / 3.5 mm); clip your camera on and we print the holder at the gap that is snug.

Which frames does it fit?

Any frame with a square M3 pattern from 20 x 20 to 30.5 x 30.5 mm on the top plate or stack standoffs: the four diagonal slots cover 20, 25.5 and 30.5 mm. Two strap slots let you hold it with a strap or zip ties instead.

How do I set the camera angle?

The holder pivots on one M3 bolt between the base's ears. Swing it to 0, 10, 20, 30 or 40 degrees, push the second M3 bolt through the index holes that line up, and tighten both nyloc nuts. Bolts are not included.

Why TPU?

TPU 95A is flexible and soaks up vibration and crash loads, so the mount bends instead of snapping and the camera footage has less jello. It softens above about 60 degrees C, so keep it away from hot motors and exhausts.
