Micro gearmotor drive set: face-mount bracket, 44 mm wheel and TPU tyre (fits 12 x 10 mm N20-size motors)
Everything printed for a two-wheel robot car built on 12 x 10 mm micro metal gearmotors (N20 size). The PETG bracket screws to the gearbox's two M1.6 holes, cradles the gearbox in a saddle and bolts to the chassis with four M3 holes; the 44 mm PETG wheel press-fits the 3 mm D shaft; the TPU 95A tyre stretches on for grip and gives a 50 mm outside diameter. Dimensions come from the published micro-metal-gearmotor drawing. For classroom robot cars, line followers, micro-mouse and small ROS rovers; sold in pairs and class packs, printed to order in our Melbourne workshop.
From A$8 for the drive pair (2 brackets, 2 wheels, 2 tyres). Printed to order in Melbourne and shipped Australia-wide; we confirm the final price and lead time before anything is printed.
On the quote page choose Request a quote (no file needed) and name this part and the option you want.

Order status. The motor outline comes from the published dimension drawing. How tightly a printed D-bore grips a 3 mm D shaft is not a published number, so the first order includes the free D-shaft coupon to set the wheel fit.
What does it look like in use?
Renders are computer images of our own design, made from the same model we print. This family is made to order: real photos of our first prints are coming.

Safety & use
Installation & use. Designed for the uses described on this page only. Fixings are not included: use the sizes listed, check they are tight before use, and check the parts regularly for wear or damage. Not for safety-critical or overhead load-bearing use. Damage caused by misuse, modification or overloading isn't a fault in the product.
Small parts. Not for children under 3. Use M1.6 screws no longer than 3 mm into the gearbox, and keep fingers and hair away from spinning wheels.

Common questions
Which motors does it fit?
12 x 10 mm micro metal gearmotors, often sold as N20 size, with two M1.6 holes 4.5 mm either side of the shaft and a 3 mm D shaft. Dimensions are from Pololu's published drawing; many N20 motors share them, but check yours against that drawing.
How does the wheel stay on?
It press-fits the 3 mm D shaft over the full width of the hub. The free coupon has four bore sizes: push each onto your shaft, pick the one that needs firm thumb pressure and does not spin on the flat, and we print your wheels to it.
Why a separate TPU tyre?
TPU 95A grips the floor far better than a hard PETG rim and is easy to replace. It is printed slightly undersize so it stretches onto the rim and stays between the two lips.
Can you supply a class set?
Yes. A class pack of 10 drive pairs is A$79.95; bigger runs are quoted per job with an invoice and purchase order. Motors and screws are not included.
How do I order?
Use Get a quote and choose Request a quote, naming drive pairs or class packs and the tyre colour. We confirm the price and lead time before anything is printed.
