SG90-size micro servo bracket for 2020 extrusion, PETG (fits Tower Pro SG90 and same-size 9 g servos)

A bracket that stands a 9 g micro servo upright on 2020 aluminium extrusion, for pan-tilts, small grippers and classroom robots. The servo drops in from the top through a 23.2 x 12.8 mm window, its ears sit on a 3 mm plate, and two M2 screws go through slotted holes that cover ear-hole pitches from 26.5 to 28.5 mm. The body hangs in a cavity with room for the nuts and 4 mm of clearance above the rail, and two feet with M5 slots fix it to the extrusion with T-nuts. Sized from Tower Pro's published SG90 dimensions. Printed to order in our Melbourne workshop; a free fit coupon comes first.

Studio render: made to order, real photos coming: the SG90-size bracket in black PETG, as it sits on the rail.

Order status. Body and ear sizes come from Tower Pro's published table. The ear-hole pitch is not published, so the ear holes are slotted and a free coupon with pitch marks comes first; we adjust the holes to your servo if needed.

Safety & use

Installation & use. Designed for the uses described on this page only. Fixings are not included: use the sizes listed, check they are tight before use, and check the parts regularly for wear or damage. Not for safety-critical or overhead load-bearing use. Damage caused by misuse, modification or overloading isn't a fault in the product.

Robots. Powered joints can pinch and move unexpectedly. Keep fingers, hair and cables clear while powered, check the full range of motion by hand after fitting, and use the screw lengths listed on this page. PETG softens near 70 degrees C. A printed bracket is for hobby, education, research and prototype loads.

Load. This part carries servo torque. Use the servo's torque limit and the stated screw lengths, and use metal brackets for production machines.

FAQ

Common questions

Which servos does it fit?

Tower Pro SG90 and other 9 g micro servos with the same 22.7 x 12.2 mm body and 32.3 mm ear span. The slotted ear holes take ear-hole pitches from 26.5 to 28.5 mm.

How does it mount on 2020 extrusion?

Two feet with M5 slots 50 mm apart take M5 x 10 screws into 2020 T-nuts. The slots let you slide the bracket along the rail before tightening.

Does it come with screws?

No. You need 2 x M2 x 10 screws with nuts for the servo ears and 2 x M5 x 10 screws with T-nuts for the rail.

Can I order a class set?

Yes. 10 brackets are A$24.95 and 4 are A$9.95, printed in PETG with 4 walls and 25 % infill. For other quantities send an enquiry.
