Single-board computer deck mount for 2020 extrusion and 20 mm grid decks (fits Raspberry Pi 5 and Pi 4 Model B)
A flat PETG deck that puts a robot's main computer straight onto the frame with no separate case. Four 6 mm standoffs on the 58 x 49 mm board pattern each have an M2.5 hex-nut trap underneath, so the board screws down from the top. The 129 x 64 x 3 mm plate bolts to one 2020 bar with two M5 slots 110 mm apart (outside the board footprint, so no screw head sits under the board) or to a 20 mm grid robot deck with four M3 holes on a 40 mm square, and has stiffening ribs, vent slots under the processor and cable-tie slots at both ends. Fits the Raspberry Pi 5 and Pi 4 Model B hole pattern from the maker's mechanical drawings. Printed to order in our Melbourne workshop.
From A$8 for the deck mount in PETG. Printed to order in Melbourne and shipped Australia-wide; we confirm the final price and lead time before anything is printed.

Order status. The hole pattern and board outline come from the maker's mechanical drawings and the nut traps use the ISO M2.5 nut size, so there is nothing to fit-test. A Jetson Orin Nano version was considered and dropped: its carrier board's hole positions are not published.
What does it look like in use?
Renders are computer images of our own design, made from the same model we print. This family is made to order: real photos of our first prints are coming.

Who it's for
Robot, rover and lab-rig builders putting a single-board computer on 2020 extrusion or a 20 mm grid deck, and printer-farm builders mounting a controller on the frame.
Safety & use
Installation & use. Designed for the uses described on this page only. Fixings are not included: use the sizes listed, check they are tight before use, and check the parts regularly for wear or damage. Not for safety-critical or overhead load-bearing use. Damage caused by misuse, modification or overloading isn't a fault in the product.
Electronics. A plastic mount with no electrical function. Fit the board with the power off, keep metal swarf and loose screws away from its underside, and keep the board's own cooling running: PETG softens near 70 degrees C.
This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Common questions
Which boards does it fit?
Boards on the 58 x 49 mm four-hole pattern of an 85 x 56 mm board: the Raspberry Pi 5 and Pi 4 Model B, from the maker's mechanical drawings. Send another board's drawing and we change the pattern, usually at no extra charge.
How does the board attach?
Drop an M2.5 nut into each of the four traps under the standoffs, set the board on top and screw down with M2.5 x 12 screws. The nuts are captive, so you do not need to reach underneath.
How does it mount to the robot?
Two M5 slots 110 mm apart take M5 x 8 screws into T-nuts in one 2020 bar; they sit outside the board, so the heads never end up under it. Or use the four M3 holes on a 40 mm square for a 20 mm grid deck.
Does it need a fan or case?
No case: the board sits on 6 mm standoffs with vent slots under the processor. Keep the board's own cooler or fan running; PETG softens near 70 degrees C.
