Ultrasonic sensor holder + 2020 tilt base, PETG (fits HC-SR04-type 45 x 20 mm modules)

A two-piece mount for the common 45 x 20 mm two-can ultrasonic range sensor on robots, rovers and test rigs built from 2020 extrusion. The module presses into the holder from behind: its two cans pass through 17.5 mm holes, the board sits in a pocket and four snap lips hold it, with a gap for the header pins, so no screws touch the board. The holder pivots between the base's two cheeks on M3 bolts and locks by friction anywhere from 60 degrees up to 44 degrees down, for wall following or floor and drop detection. The base fixes to the rail with two M5 slots. Printed to order in our Melbourne workshop; a free fit coupon comes first.

Order status. Only the module's 45 x 20 x 15 mm outline is published. The can size and spacing and the board thickness vary between makers, so the free coupon checks the fit and we adjust the holder to your module if needed.

FAQ

Common questions

Which sensors does it fit?

Two-can ultrasonic range modules with a 45 x 20 mm board, such as the HC-SR04 type. Can spacing and board thickness vary between makers, so print or ask for the free coupon first and we adjust the holder to your module.

How is the sensor held?

It presses in from behind: the cans pass through the front plate, the board sits in a 0.3 mm pocket and four snap lips catch its back edge. A 12 mm gap leaves room for the header pins.

How far does it tilt?

From 60 degrees up to 44 degrees down. Two M3 bolts with nyloc nuts form the pivot and hold the angle by friction.

How does it mount?

Two M5 slots 76 mm apart take M5 x 8 screws into 2020 T-nuts, or bolt it to any plate with M5 holes.
